About me

I am a dedicated and passionate educator with over eight years of experience supporting young people in primary, secondary, and further education settings. My career began as a teaching assistant and evolved into leadership roles that allowed me to mentor students, manage youth support teams, and promote emotional well-being across schools. I am deeply committed to creating safe, supportive, and structured environments where young people feel understood, valued, and motivated to succeed.

My Care Philosophy

I believe every young person deserves to feel safe, valued, and empowered. I focus on guidance, compassion, and support to help them grow, build confidence, and develop essential life skills.

Journey in Young People’s Care

From my early years in education to running a semi-independent supported living home, I have gained extensive experience supporting young people to overcome challenges, achieve independence, and thrive in all areas of life.

Personal experience

Throughout my career, I have worked closely with young people facing various challenges — from behavioural difficulties to social and emotional struggles. Leading an inclusion unit for over 1,500 students and coordinating workshops on critical issues such as drug misuse, youth violence, and mental health has given me a deep understanding of the complex needs of today’s youth.
These experiences have shaped my holistic approach to care — one that blends empathy, structure, and practical guidance. I take pride in helping young people overcome barriers, build self-belief, and discover their own path toward independence and success.
