My journey spans semi-independent residential homes, safeguarding roles in secondary schools, and leadership positions, equipping me to provide guidance, advocacy, and opportunities for growth and independence.
I believe every young person deserves a safe, supportive, and empowering environment. My approach combines structure, guidance, and compassion to help young people build confidence, develop life skills, and thrive in their transition to adulthood.
From working in residential care to leading safeguarding initiatives in schools, I have gained extensive experience supporting young people through challenges, promoting well-being, and fostering independence. This journey informs my leadership at CareWood Homes, where I focus on empowering young adults to achieve their full potential.
I have worked directly with vulnerable and looked-after children, mentoring them and advocating for their needs. My experience includes managing multiple residential homes, safeguarding responsibilities in schools, and collaborating with families and agencies to ensure the safety, growth, and success of every young person in my care.
